Hey everyone! I have heard SO many stories of lucky people, buying from ignorant fish stores, and getting the better deals! WELL, TODAY IT WAS MY TURN! I followed my mom to the supermarket, but as usual, i run off to Petland!
I was looking through all the tanks, until I hit one of the big tanks they had and it was full of 2 lima shovelnoses, 1 rtc, a BUNCH of small catifish, and a clown loach. I was thinking to myself " OMFG I GOTTA GET THAT LIMA SHOVELNOSE"
So I did.
I asked the guy who worked there, first week of working, nice dude. He got me the bigger lima out of the two there and as he was about to bag it up, I asked if i could get the other one. As we walked back to the tank and looked at the other one, it was still somewhat small. So he goes, you know, we have another Lima around here. He leads me to a smaller tank and he goes, there it is. I look at what hes pointing at AND ITS A TSN!!! I go no way... I quickly look to see if it overpriced and THERE IS NO PRICETAG! So immediately go. I want that! He goes ok, he takes it out, and i go, so how much is it? there is no price tag. He goes, well the boss said that the other fish (One already bagged lima) is the same as this one ( one in the plastic container about to be bagged). well, I felt bad for the guy so i told him that they were different.. he looks at them and goes.. they look the same to me. So i just say ok and he gave it to me. So i ask him again, so how much will u price me? he goes ill charge u the same amount as the lima - 16.99. and i go sweet!! Now, its acclimating in a big home depot bucket ^_^
PLus, i bought two large plants just for my cats!
Ps, will the limas and tsn fight?
I dont know how much a TSN costs but I was assuming that tsns are more costly than limas lol
