she had 2 mass cel tumors removed ..they were only a 1/4" round.. they need to remove alot of flesh to malke sure they get all the bad tissue out.. my wife was the person who removed them.. she is a saint,and loves all the animals she works on .. the dog is a 50 lb rednose pit ..

Oh my goodness. That is a good job on the stapling/stitching. I hope your wife got all of it; what a brave dog.

I'm assuming your wife is either a veterinarian/surgeon?

she is a vet. she has sent both chunks of removed flesh to have them checked to see if there are any bad cells at the furthest points of the flesh. this poor girl has had a very bad life until we got her.. she was abused ,and thrown into traffic were she was hit by a car and left for dead.. she was almost a year old when all that happened.. i kind lady brought her into my wifes work because she thought she was dead.. well she was just clinging to life.. well she made it and 5 years later this comes up our other dog is protecting her.. she is a 115lb pittbull/ neopolitan mastiff mix .. they are called bandogs.. both are the smartest dags i have ever owned here is sage out other dog

i should mention the little dot on her side was where they found a tic it must have been on her for awhile.. we never saw it,and we give them baths every week.. ,y wife was shocked when she shaved her.. she is a vey happy dog normally .. ,but she is down in the dumps tonite she is whinning and crying.. even with meds.
