my new Red Devil is a female she just laid eggs, the issue is there is no male in there WTH is that all about, can someone explain to me what happened? also i purchased another Red Devil its in my grow out tank i hope its a male to small to tell right now. I would like someone to explain to me why this happened? Thanks in advance :nilly:

why what happened her laying eggs? Female fish will lay eggs regardless if there is a male in the tank or not. They wont hatch but they have to lay eggs if they are fertile or they would get egg bond.

okay thanks for the info, the only female fish to lay eggs in my tank were mated pair, you learn something everyday. Also i have a pair of livingstoniis one is a male the other is female they are 6 and seven inches respectivly and they are about a year old, the male turns all kinds of light blue and yellow colors shaking his arse around the female he has been doing that for months she isnt going for it why hasnt she laid eggs? thats another reason im surprised at the reply i got about the female fish..
