It's that time again: sex my GT?

Got a new GT but I'm at odds about the sex so I think another eye is needed:

Difficult to tell because the green terror is still very young looking. It may be a female.

looks male to me, not alot of blue on gill plate, pointed fins, design withing dorsal and nuchal hump forming all point towards male GOOD LUCK with him they can be quite a handful if youv got him with others, except for one fish that is double their size my pair are rulers of the tank at only 3-3.5in

Thanks for the replies, I was hoping for a male, because I've been picking females so far lol. I have him in a 75 with two other females that are about his size and maybe one is like a few centimeters bigger... the females were picked up thinking they were male lol.

haha yeah it was the same when i was getting mine i got 2 from petsmart and thought they were both females so i got one from my lfs thinking it looked like a male and now that one if actually a female and one of the ones i got from petsmart is actually the male (and showing some great potential at that )

yeah it sucks when they pull that cross dressing switch on you but doesnt really matter as long as the fish looks nice and has cool personality its fine by me

Ack lol... hopefully that doesnt happen to me; seriously the way I keep getting females its like theres a 10 to 1 girl to guy ratio.
