... It's that time of year... (iguana battle wounds on me)

Had to clean out the male iguanas cage yesterday... first I get slapped in the face by his tail... then he charges at me mouth agape and ready to bite. I had to practically grab him mid-air as he was leaping at me, which of course resulted in flailing talons and tail...
Anyone else noticing their iguanas going into season about now?

yep, even the tame ones will scratch you up pretty good. I trim Julio's nails every month but he still draws blood.

Actually Im glad you were able to avoid being bit That would been much worse than what you got on your hands. Shure hope he calms down soon. My female is going paranoid as well, she is shedding, another thing that gets them edgy.
