i know u guys spend alot of money on ur fish, but what was ur most difficult fish to take care of but it was totally worth it? for example i have to do 50% wc everyday n do multiple feedings now bc of baby discus, but i figure its gonna be worth it when they grow up.

Not a certain fish but my 125 is overstocked...well maybe and I only have two Emp 400's. I know that I can't feed as much and have to do 50% weekly changes but totally worth it!

My RTC, for sure. Not difficult to take care of, but difficult to accommodate.

Keeping 7 tanks in top condition currently. Pretty cool looking though well worth it or id break the three smaller ones down.

taking care of 3 tanks ranging 180G - 80G - 25G... but i mean its all worth it at the end of the day, even though it can be a bit of a hassle... on the bright side, at least i'm not taking care of 3+ monster tanks (like some other members here) which would definitely be a lot more effort...

It's worth it :D

Ever since I got my 2 1" EBJDs back in mid May, I've been doing twice weekly water changes (usually one on the weekend and one during the mid week sometime). They are now right around the 3" mark.

It seems like the last several times my mom has called me I've been doing water changes so couldn't talk long. Last weekend when she called I told her I was doing another water change and she said "oh, wow, how many of those do you do a week??" I replied "2" and she said "wow that sounds like alot of work".

I replied, "Yeah, but it's worth it."
:D
:nilly:

Of course its worth it. But I don't have to do water changes. I just feed and vac the sand every now and then.

My fire eels.. and Oscar. the bane of my existance.. each week it's something new.. the rest of my tanks are peachy keen. driving to the bait shop every week for earthworms, restocking my feeder QT tank every week for the oscar and needlenoses diets. trying to make accomidations for them all while just haveing the moveing bomb dropped on me. hair frazzleing, wanna pull my hair out some days... But every night I leave for work I worry about them, and greet them every morning when I get home. To a group of flittering fins and noses pokeing out of the water.

Totally worth the annoyance of the tank and it's inhabitants. x10...

I lost my arm to one, but it was worth it.

Only kidding.

I've been keeping fish for a few years now, the python siphon I made makes it so much easier to do water changes.
To me, making the python siphon is what's worth it ;)

I'm starting a marine FOWLR so trying something new now.

I don't really tend to go for difficult fish to take care of, I just don't have the time, I prefer keeping the hardy types and just making sure they're happy.
