so yea, last night i knowticed that 2 of my 4 RBP were acting funny, i had never seen a piranha move gravel :confused: . and i figured somehting was up. well woke up this morning, and low and behold, i have some yellowish eggs kinda in that lil dip they dug out...

i have no idea what im going to do:cry: , i wasnt planning this!!!!:eek:

and i have no tank to house all the fry in if they hatch:nilly: :nilly:

so now i have to figure something to do.... and my location is not helping that much:irked:
 
Kool...when I had my RBs...they also bred for me too...but I had 1 females and one male...have a patch of eggs every week...anyhow...here is what I did if I can remembered correctly...

I left the eggs in there untill they hatched...and probably can swim on their own...syphon them into a smaller tank w/ sponge filter and air stone...the water is from the big tank...don't leave anything else in there such as decoration and such...water change every day but just a little bit ...treated the water first before adding to the tank...and thatz pretty much it...

Here are signs of breeding behavior...both fish circling around each other with their head down blowing the gravel...you will see this behavior very often...their color will be significantly darker...once the female laid eggs and the male fertilized them...hez extremely aggressive...after 24 hrs...you probably can see a black dot on the eggs...thatz all I can remembered...

well the eggs have been disappearing, im thinking either the convic feeders, or the pelco has been eating good...lol

its prolly for the better anyways.

dont need 100 more RBP...LOL
