I've kind of fallen in love with Geo's

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Doubt they are true Surinamensis. Probably some type of Altifrons, but I'm glad you have taken interest in the eartheater family. They are really great peaceful SA Cichlids!

I will have some Geophagus Tapajos Orangehead available in a few months.....;):)

Interesting. What makes you doubt that they're true Surinamensis?

Because every Geo that comes into pet stores that they don't know what they are get called Surinamensis. Basically if it has red on it's tail most pet stores call them Surinamensis

my group are great fun and i can only concur regarding the Surinamensis rule. I have 2 different species that were both labeled as Surinamensis. It is much clearer now that they are Altifron and Dicrozoster but are still stunning and entertaining fish.

Hi... You are not the only one to have this new addiction.. I now have 6 baby orangeheads and the addiction is growing.. They are so entertaining to watch...And those of you out there.. you will remain nameless for your safety sake.. you know who you are.. you are "enablers"..HAHA :ROFL::ROFL:Good luck with your fish..Sue:D

Everytime I think I'm out.....They pull me back in! Gymnos, Geos, they all got me by the shorties!
