I have moved on from the Mbunas I've had in my 90 gallon tank for the past four years. I really wanted a single fish with a big personality so I started thinking about a flowerhorn.
I picked this guy based on how he looked. I don't have a clue about what's all involved in grading. I just thought he was cool!

I took these pictures about an hour after placing him in the tank. He seems to be a confident little guy!

Lol nice thread title, welcome to the Dark Side. And that's a great start, very nice, higher grade ZZ Dragon with possibly some Kamfa blood; not sure on latter but it does have nice pearling covering its entire head, which most pure ZZ Dragons don't. Good luck with him and enjoy, no mbuna in the world will have as much character.

I love the title of your thread. Never own one but very very much want to keep this gorgeous fish. They always seem very interactive. Whenever I put my fingers on glass at the store they respond to it and try to follow my fingers.
