Iwaki or Blueline?

Which is a better pump, the Blueline 100 HD or Iwaki MD 100 rlt. I am setting up a 240 gallon tank and I see that these are two great pumps but I cant figure out which one is better and which one last longer. Anyone have any experience with these pumps? I am leaning more towards the Iwaki... but I need some advice. Thankyou

Iwaki sounds more reliable, bcus it sounds like toyota a japanese manufacturer lol !

Iwakis have really fallen out of favor in recent years, mostly due to noise complaints. There are newer pumps that are just as reliable but quieter and more energy efficient.

Thankyou all...I was looking at the Iwaki japanese motor...it cost a little more.... But I will go with the Iwaki MD 100 rlt..it uses less energy and pumps more water. When I get my 240 set up..I will post pics.....I have 6 large datnoids from 16'' to 8'' and 10 baby dats with a baby fly river turtle and a 15'' black arowana...when they get bigger it will be a perfect set up!!!!
