I was wondering if anyone had any experience between Iwaki vs Reeflo. I am looking at a pump to run two Nuclear canister, but I am hearing Iwaki's are loud and becasue this tank will be in a family roon, I am looking for the least noise as possible.. Any advice
Also whats the back pressure feature about

Iwakis are great pumps (I own two) but they are a bit loud.

For your canister you definitely want a pressure-rated pump. Circulation pumps lose flow very quickly as head pressure increases, pressure-rated pumps maintain their flow better under high pressure conditions.

Agree with Dan 100%. I would also note that you can add insulating materials (from Lowes, Home Depot etc..) that can be installed on the inside of the stand. That will cut down on th noise of the pump in a major way no matter what manufacturer you choose. I am a reeflo guys myself but have used/liked Iwaki pumps in the past.

So does that mean the Iwaki is a better PRESSURE pump than the reeflo?

Any Blue line pressure pumps user out there? How are they as for as noise and dependability?
