iz this a good trade/buy

i talked to my lfs owner for a while at my fav. lfs. i told him i was trying to get rid of my polleni and then i saw this 10- 12 in. midas cichlid.:eek: it was trying to breed with this arrow cichlid and it was beating up everybody in the tank:headbang2 i asked him if he would trade his 10-12in. midas and 8in arrow for my 9in. polleni and 8in. supposed "royal" green t. he thinks that it was a "royal" because i bought it from him and he (i guess) doesnt know:D the midas was good looking and the arrow had a slight coudy right eye. they were both 60$ but he said that he would give me the midas for 40$. i origanaly bought my polleni for 80$ and greent for 70$, both from him, please tell me if this is a good deal. :)
 
I have no idea if it's a deal or not but the prices in general all sound pretty high. 12 inch midas usually go for about 25 - 35 bucks around here
 
they beat up a black B that beat up the midas when it was first introduced and a maramotus cat but they wernt beating up the 20+in. marble goby
 
Oh, I didn't think about that. I would just weigh out all the options and decide if YOU think it's worth it.
 
I wouldn't trade your fish for the others. Your fish are worth alot more than the Midas and arrow cichlid. Plus I like the markings and colors of the fish you have now but you may not. You can trade them if you want I just think it's a little unfair on yourside.
 
TY Cross, where did you see my gt and polleni. thats just what i was thinking because i thought polleni where really rare. but they were breeding so does that increase the value?

Polleni are hard to find and are very rare to my knowledge. I never come across one. Did the Polleni and GT ever have fry? A breeding pair is worth more as people who are in the breeding industry they usually will sell breeding pair and very often pricey. Personally I have never heard of a Polleni, GT pair sounds awesome. If i were you I would hang on to the pair you have unless he gives you store credit along with the 2 fish. LOL. I love Polleni's and GT's. If you can post some pics I would to see them.
 
o sry i didnt make that kleer. the midas and arrow were pairing up not my gt polleni lol. i wuld never trade them if they did spawn but i dont think thats possible. no pics cuz my computer iz a freekin retard so i guess you will have to take my word they are good looking. does anybody else have something to say?
