i i think your right on the ban
australia has a ban on exporting wildlife
i remember reading my cockatiels for dummies book that all cockatiel are captive bred as australia has a ban on exporting wildlife whether endangered or not.
that was my clue.
tough question. supply and demand could pretty much dictate the price. also how much are you wililng to pay for it. if I have room, and there are specimens in the 5-6" range, I would probqably pay up to, but not limited, foru about $100 a piece, IF I am a collector of that particular fish. For someone who has the room for the size of that fish, some might even be willing to pay up to maybe $500 a piece. It also depends on how much was the price, freight, and import fees, etc. The price is nothing if you really want it. Compare it to other rare fish, some are priced so extensively, all you can do is dream about it. But in this case, if you like fish that will eat all your other fish, thanks alot vince. how much do you think one would go stateside? california lets say? whats a fair price?
definitely worth it, again if that is what you like. I have no room, if only I can setup my other 180 (8x2x18"),
no room. I need a bigger house!!!!
