i know redundant questions sucks, but been reading for hours. I have 110 gal acrylic reef style (deeper than high for caves) with 2 1" predrilled return holes, corner overflow with 1 5/8's outlet drilled into bottom. 55 gal glass sump (Petco 50% off $70) with baffle kit from jaxracks. Planned on the Jabeo DCP 8000 with a y connector to split to the inlet holes. After reading Here I guess I need 2 Jabeo pumps in case one goes out. If I need about 800 gallons flow rate which models should I get. Oh yea... maybe 5' head. The confusing thing is the DCP 3000, 4000, 6000 models cost more than the $80 8000 on Amazon. Help or advice appreciated! Going to do Cichlids with slate rock work from local landscape store.

The Jebao pumps are adjustable, and run around 42% on the lowest setting if I recall. I run them on both my tanks without any complaints. Only a check valve in the single return though. I'm running this one at the 4th setting on my 190. Hope this helps!!

Hey Texas.... should I go with the 6000 then split two ways with a one way check valve? I sounded like Waffle House commercial. Lol
