Jack Dempsey 1 Year Anniversary

Happy adoption day to Sweetums, my Jack Dempsey. I’ve had him for exactly a year.
I got him at 0.5 inches, the runt at the petsmart tank.
Now he is about 3-4 inches.

Hasn’t grown as fast as I thought, but colored up very nicely.

If he was a runt he will probably never get as big as he should.
But who cares if you don’t plan on breeding it.
Still a beautiful fish, it did color up very nice.

I’d love to have a 10 inch monster, but frankly I wouldn’t mind if he maxes at 6 and doesn’t kill everyone else.
