Im setting up a 220 gal and I plan to house 3 sevs, 2 geos, 2 blood parrots, a convict, 2 rainbow cichlids, a blue acara, a sajica, 2 hrp, a bleekeri, a flag cichlid, and possibly a chocolate. Are jd's or ebjd's too aggressive for a tank like this? I have a baby jd who I was considering moving into this tank, but I wasn't sure if he would be too aggressive. I was also considering getting an ebjd, but had the same concern.

EBJD are not nearly as aggressive as regular jacks but they are allot more sensitive and die easily. JD aggressiveness span the spectrum I would skip it as I dont think it will add anything to your stock list. all though nice looking they become quiet reclusive as they get older.

I would look at an electric blue accara instead. I would also bump your rainbow cichlids up to 4 or 5. I currently have 2 together and they are fine but I hear they do better in groups.

Ok, good to know. I wasn't sure if adding more rainbows would make my tank overstocked. Thanks
