We have a 55 gallon fish tank with four BP in it currently. We also have a JD in a 30 gallon tank. I was wondering if we could move the JD into the 55 gallon tank without any issues. The JD is about 6 inches and the the four BP are around 4-5 inches. Thanks for the help.
You are very overstocked with the parrots alone. They can get 8-10 inches and super bulky (think small pumpkins). The JD will get larger as well...would suggest a minimum of a 150, or 180 better for all of them. Territory will be a problem, as parrots get more territorial as they age. Your bioload will be through the roof as well if it isn't already. For best growth / health a max of 2 parrots in a 55. With 4 parrots I hope you are doing 50 to 75 percent water changes twice a week. 55 gallons really isn't a lot for cichlids. The fish you have will pollute that fast.
