Jack dempsey and senegal bichir in 55 gallon

I wanted to make pond/aquarium with bog filter out of 55 gallon tank decorated outside by fales stones so it looks like pond but one viewing panel open and in that tank is coming stream made of small liner and rocks that will give shape to liner.then i will take plastic tote as wide and long as i can possibly find(i can find about 10gallons) .fill it with gravel and plant it with lucky bamboo and photo plants.
I wanted to put in aquarium a jack dempsey and 2 senegal bichirs.could i put them together and do you have some other idea of stocking.

Should work, the bichirs may eventually outgrow the tank (possibly).

I would add water arum plants as well to shade the pothos and lucky bamboo a little
