It's soo cute. I have tried to take pics of these 2. I moved my JD to a 55g tank since he was pretty much being a bully to all the fish in my 40g. The JD is now about 4 inches I would say, and I got him a friend. An oscar, about 3.5 inches. I have had him for about a week now. At first he seemed kinda withdrawn and "mad" at me, but now him and the JD are in love lol. They are always side by side. Swimming together, eating together, hiding together and so on. It's really cute and I love watching them. I have tried to take a pic of them and every time I have the camera they both hide...blah. I will eventually get them a bigger tank, but for now they will be in the 55g. :)

Great to hear that they get along so well.

My JD is way too violent to be with my Oscars.

I tried my hand at an Electric Blue JD, but it didn't go so well. Everyone got along fairly well, but the EBs are a touch y fish when small and somehting in the water muct have changed ever so little, and he went belly up on me. Oscar and friends seem to be doing great though. I may try again with a regular JD but not sure at this time. I'm trying to keep it strictly South American fish now (with the exception of the Convicts, which I didn't have room for once I took them out of their 30 gallon where they were fighting all the time. Now that they have room, they're breeding like rabbits. Should have been smarter than that, but whatchya gonna do.

I am so glad they get along, my JD was such a bully in the other tank and I was kinda iffy about getting him a friend, but turns out it was for the best. I will try and get some pics soon. :)
