So I currently have about 200 or so free-swimming JD fry. They've been free-swimming for about 2 days in a 55 gallon with just the parents and a pleco. I've covered the intake on the filter and have been finely grinding up flake food. I've been thinking about moving the babies, however. What size tank should I think to move them to? And is it safe to move them now? I don't want the parents to end up eating all the fry, or run the chance that the parents will get lax with guarding and the pleco will eat them. Please help. Any advice would be welcome as this is my first time dealing with fry past the egg phase.

if you have gene split parents look out for blue fry ....(well a gold/tan colour)
jds with out as much bars on them as other jds

I'm surprised the pleco didn't eat the eggs. As said before just remove the pleco and let the parents raise them.
