Hi all, I have a beautiful pair of jack Dempsey who are now proud parents to a rather large group of fry!
They seem to be very good parents, they are very protective, and even take food down to their young, but are they known to eat their own fry? How long after they have hatched should I remove them from their tank?
Is there any other advice that anyone who has experience with these fish, can give me? This is the first time I have had fish breed, and any sort of advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

Sounds pretty good so far, if the parents let the fry get to free swimming they usually wont them. I would say that they are good parents, you should feed the fry baby brine shrimp if you arent already doing so because they will grow alot quicker.
