I think all 3 are male, females have blue pearls in theyre cheeks.

My Dempseys were doing the same thing over the weekend. If you seperate them make sure you keep a lid on them. I seperated mine and put them into two buckets and by the morning came they were on the floor. I thought I had two males but I guess I did not. When they finally came around I freaked out and thought I was doing the right thing but ended up with two dead fishes. They were my buddies now they are fertilizer.

those r two males fighting over what looks like the female below. keep them together if u want, just watch for one to start taking on damage and get him out of there or throw in a divider or u will have loads of fights prolly worse ones.

i cant tell on the 3rd but fighting over her is a very good assumption... do the 2 fighting ever do that with the one underneath?

edit... actually closer look at pic it is a female on bottom. wait till the males duke it out and one you can tell has took defeat get rid of it or a seperate tank and voila you have a pair.

looks like they're fighting over the female

yea those are two males so they are not mating...post more pics of the bottom one in second pic. it actually could be a female but would want a better pic to be sure.
