i'm learning to sex and breed alot of cichlids..i got a bunch of extra tanks and set up a bunch of breeder tanks..my question is as far getting a pair for jack dempsey's you gotta let them choose their mate..but i been going to petsmart this past week and i go atleast 2-3 times daily..but i noticed since this past sunday that there were these 2 jack dempsey's out of about 10-12 always swimming and hiding together..the rest looked beat up torn fins and these 2 were the best looking ones..one is light color with some blue spots on gills and one is darm but really extremely bright colors..when i got them home i put them in a 40g breeder tank..i have a rack with 6 40g breeder tanks..but anyways once i put them in the tank they stayed together and they are always side by side..could this be a pair or should i still put more with them and pair them as they grow?
