Jack Dempsey coloration?

I currently have a baby jack Dempsey, he’s mostly black but his colors do come out sometimes. Can someone give me an idea of how colorful mine will be and at what age to expect the colors to really come out?

Expect mostly black. At about 3 inches mine really started to show nice colors, deep black and blue. I don’t think the greens and purples I’ve seen come until about 6.
