I have 3 different tanks and was thinking of moving an 8"male Jack to a 6' 125g which houses 4 clown loaches about 4-5" and a 9" gold severum and 6" green severum. would the jack be compatible with the clown loaches? severums?

Tank has sand and driftwood as well as many cobblestones. lots of shelters.

Afraid JD may be too aggressive

^^ Ditto.

It should work, unless your JD is one of those guys that hates company.

How aggressive are your severums and your JD? If your severums are timid, I wouldn't try it. However, I had a severum that would have probably kept a JD in the corner, so you never know. You could give it a try, but keep an eye on things for a while and be prepared to move the JD if things get rough.

I agree with the above statements.Just watch the JDs agression towards the Sev.Clown loaches should be fine.

in general, the setup can work, unless you have one of those particularly aggressive specimens of dempsey.

The only fish ive had problems with clown loaches is the Flowerhorn and my red devil. All the other fish (dovii, yellowhead, jag, buttikoferi, cuban, salvini, convict) were fine with them.
