This may be a bit of a premature post. I have successfully raised a batch of standard JD fry to about 6 weeks. I will be looking to rehome them as they get a bit bigger. I do not have the room that will be required for so many. What are my options for finding them new homes beyond Friends and family. I will attempt to get some picture posted in the next couple of days.

If you have an aquarium club/society in your town, you can take some and get BAP
(Breeder Award Points), in my old club, if you successfully raised 5 fry to certain point and turned them in, you got points toward different ratings (Master Breeder, Expert etc etc) aquarium clubs often have swap meets, and fish auctions. My club had 2 auctions per year, at least 4 swap meets, and a small auction each monthly meeting.
Depending on where you live, the ACA (American Cichlid Assn) GCCA (greater Chicago Cichlid Assn) have auctions and swaps.
You usually don't need to be a member to participate in auctions or swaps.
You can usually trade fry at LFSs for credit, once the fry hit a sellable size, at least 2".

Thank you for the information. I will have to check around for a club/society locally. Sounds interesting. Just getting started with breeding so do not have much experience.
