Today when I was checking on my jack dempsey who is about 3-3.5" and she is getting red coloring on her anal and caudal fins and has always had a red stripe on the top of the dorsal fin I am just wondering is this normal? Sorry I can't take pics because I don't have a camera. I haven't noticed it until now and I don't know when it started because I just noticed it today but she might of gotten new coloring today because she got in a fight with a convict and her caudal fin got bit pretty bad and now it's part red and there isn't any rips in it now so I'm guessing she got it today. Is she just special like that or do all jack dempseys get red coloring on fins? But it is pretty 
The only one that doesnt show any red at all is my big gold male.
