My Jack Dempsey in the last 3-4 weeks have been very quiet, staying in the bottom of the tank and stopped coming for food. He displayed no signs of illness like gasping for air, rubbing, tremors, erratic swimming, or physical alterations of any kind. He was just quiet and hiding in the bottom. Also, there was no fighting/bullying with other fish.

I just arrived and found him laying against the glass on the bottom, the other fish was already starting to "bite" him (hence the few wound he has now) and his color was almost gone (he was blue and now was almost black). After he died I checked him up, his skin seems to have the usual amount of slime, his gills seems fine and his organs was normal (to me).

What he had? I treated for gill flukes using praziquantel since in another post it was suggested that, and also increased to 0.3% salinity to treat for any underlying fungus/infections.

Also, a few days ago (maybe a week) my Texas Cichlid started doing the same (hiding in the bottom and not eating)... what is that??
