His eyes are popping out a little and his stomach is swollen.

Is this your fish? If so how long has he been like that?

Yes its mine. He has been acting funny for about a week but I didn't notice the eyes and stomach until yesterday. The only think that has changed for him has been his diet. I got a gar that isn't eating pellets so I have been feeding cut up frozen shrimp. Do you think that has something to do with it?

I would hazard that the diet change is the culprit. I have a chocolate that does the same on beef heart.
