I have a jack Dempsey that lost part of his top lip. Is this a permanet injury or will it grow back. Thanks for any info.

It's a permanent injury. Do you know what caused this? How big is the tank and what else are in it? Do daily water changes until the wound heals but bear in mind the lip will be unable to regrow at all.
Ouch, that sounds painful...
Wouldn't it matter how much of the lip he lost?? If its just a small bit from a fight wouldn't that just heal over? Obviously I doubt if its a massive chunk....
