my JD male was my first monster got him january of this year just took him out of the water today measures 6.25 inches from his head to where his tail fin starts with the fin he measures a good 7+ inches. he ate my pleco and today he whent after my dear eel it was inevitable. I am leaving on vacation july 4th and dont want to burden anyone with him and the possibility of him eating my catfish.
anyone with a 75 gal + aquarium please take him he is colourful. I taught him to jump clear out of the water for food. he takes food from your hand as well.

I live in princeton new jersey like 20 minutes from trenton in mercer county
there are some pictures of him the one with the fire mouth was him as a baby I kept him well so the cut in his top fin is completely gone so is the fire mouth. the darker picture is him like a month or two ago and the rest are fairly current. his tank was also getting a bit small on him I am 14 and cant afford an upgrade yet so I don't want to cramp him I really like him
