I have had him for 2 months now. I was expecting an inch by now, he's currently around 2 inches. Ive been feeding him Omega One, NLS, and hikari. I need some new ideas please, preferably get them from amazon. He gets 2 50 percent WC a week, sometimes but rarely 3. He's in a 60 gallon btw. What can I do to speed this up?

I'm not sure there is anything else you can do but wait it out. Just give it time to hit its growth spurt:)
My jack went from 1 1/2inches to 4 in 4 months. Maybe not the fastest grower, but compared to my gt she has grown fast. Haha she eats cichlid pellets, tropical flakes, baby shrimp, krill, blood worms, and sometimes nibbles the algae tabs. I feed 3-4 x a day. Just a little at a time. I hand feed so food doesn't get dumped in, other then flakes anyway.

Too soon perhaps. Anyway what seems to be the rush for growth? As already mentioned, you've been doing 2 important things (wc and good diet) which are excellent.

Tankmates? Decor? Full tank shot maybe..

Miss my JDs. Gotta love their character!

Just have patience man, if he's healthy and happy, let him grow at his own pace. JD's are pretty slow growers, and even then, all fish are different. You can't really go by a textbook rate and expect that for all JD's, they all grow a little differently. If you have a female, it will probably take a long time to get big.

as everyone else stated, you have to be patient. Everyone's had their own experiences, but Jacks aren't the fastest growers from my experience...
The male I had from my group started out at 1.5" and was about 6"-7" after a years time. I was doing two water changes a week, usually 50%-75%. He was in a 120g (4'x2'x2') tank with 6 other blue genes, 1 juvie EBJD, and 1 adult EBJD, and two EBAs. With two SunSun 304b canisters...

If he's eating what you're feeding him, don't change the diet - there's no need to. Don't over feed either, just keep up with your water changes and be patient and enjoy the experience of its growth.

I been growing out my GT male and as most GT he is a slow grower. To make things a little more interesting I have been doing months photos to document his growth and colors. I look forward to each passing month. Maybe do something similar to enjoy the grow out process a bit more.
