Well i hope there are not too many photos but i captured what i think to be selection of decent photos. As of a few days ago they have been lip locking Continuously and to me it seems most of it is provoked by the smaller less colored one as the biggest is really only defensive in the meanwhile theyve had their vents down i guess and i managed to capture them in a few photos i think they are of the same sex and im thinking male. i hope some of you will correct me if im wrong and hopefully inform me of their accurate sex . ive had the two of them for a little over 9 months since they were around 1 - 1.5 inches.

Nice pics and fish but next time give the glass a clean. Always fun to see them mouth fighting too. Mine used to do it with my green terror like once a week.

Thanks very much. im not so interested in them fighting im guessing the small one is trying to overtake the larger but it doesnt seem to go in its favor. im hoping someone will key in on the right sex of them. I believe the largest to be around 7 - 7.5 inches and the smaller about an inch less.

o, u realli do have 2 jd, when i saw the 4th pic, i thought that jd was looking into a mirror or something, lol, great looking pair btw

Beautiful jacks!! Just by looking at the lack of blue on the lower jaw of both - I would say you have to males.

I am really curious of the sex of these two. ive been trying to put my 4 inch texas into the tank since he acts extremely mellow and sometimes skittish. When i do the large dempsey flees or hides just avoids the texas period. the smaller will do the same but on occassion flare or try to lockup with the texas.
