How long does it take for a JD to become fully grown an/or aquire its great colors? How big would a tank need to be house 2 or 3

you can house a pair eaily in a 6' tank.

oh ok so a 7'x2'x2.5' would be ok i think thats the dimensions of my 265

From my limited experience as long as a dempsey has a cave to call his/her home they'll be happy. Ive got a breeding pair, 2x female and 1x male juvi's in a 55gal with others and all they really do is eject foreigners from their caves.

I'd just keep it to one pair, to prevent them from ganging up on non-paired individuals
