Hey guys!! I have gotten two baby jack dempseys. They are both about an inch long. I have put them both in my 75 with my rain bow shark and Red Eared Slider. They are doing pretty awesome right now. They are both eating, and aren't really being bullied much. The turtle could care less about them, but the shark.is a little bite mean. Other than that, were good in there!

The big question here is, how should I decorate it? It is pretty empty right now. What kind of substrate should I get? Would I get driftwood, and if so, how much? Could you tell me just about anything that I should everything that I wouo or could use to make it good for the jacks and still look nice? Thanks guys!! Pics would be nice too!!

I'm new to fish keeping but I have a Dempsey in my 75 and I have driftwood and rocks. I would say to have some hiding places would be good. Here is a pic of my tank and my fish.uploadfromtaptalk1360303903500.jpguploadfromtaptalk1360303928900.jpg

fish +turtle = no more fish:popcorn:

Your jd's will grow fast (my favorite grew 8" in a year), and can almost guarantee they will end up killing your other fish. Hit or miss if the 2 jd's will get along as well. Just some food for thought :)

That's ridiculously fast for a JD. What were you feeding him?
