It’s about 2 1/2 to 3 inches long and I’m just wondering if anyone can take a shot at sexing it, just out of curiosity. I know it’s a little small so if not it’s no big deal.
Blue bearding is nearly 100% guaranteed to be a female. Although there are the rare occassion that a female may just have multiple spotting that don't link up to look like a beard.
I zoomed in and circled what we are talking about. This blue on her gill plates, if you look close it's the skin that is blue not spots on top of the base color.
