My jack dempsey was never that aggressive... Until recently... it chases and bullies a lot of my fish in my 48x24x24 120 gallon... any ideas to control aggresxsion besides moving decor wich i will do later today...

what do you have in there? besides re-arragning the tank or adding dithers the only other thing you can do is change up your stock.

A 3 inch baby oscar, blood parrots, a 1.5 inch green terror, a tinfoil barb. the jd dosnt bully the 2 larger bloof parrots or the tinfoil barb...

how big is the jd? They usually can get pretty aggressive depending on the individual and from what I have seen its likely it'll get more aggressive as it gets older. Sometimes the aggression will focus on individuals in the tank and other times it will be against all fish. With that stock I wouldnt be surprised if you have some serious aggression issues and I'd only expect them to get worse as they grow. If it was me i'd pull out the bully and re-home it and repeat with the next bully if one arises

I recently pulled my Jd out of the 300 because he was picking fights he couldn't win. He has no problem picking on a much larger fish and getting beat down.

I moved him to a smaller tank do he wouldn't get killed. Mine is just a punk to pretty much everything but a female Freddy.
