if im right jack dempseys get lighter color when there pissed or stressd well i dont know whats up but my JD's are always light colord?

well like my JD had his own crib for a while and was always light color and real happy....he was excited and real social with me..its like we connected on a level...but then I added him to anotha tank cause he is hard enough to make his own claim now...and he is real dark all the time...instead of light colored greens he is mostly black and always lookin' over his shoulder to make sure the man aint out to get him...

Mine seems to go light when the Texas is chasing him and for a little bit after, and dark when there is food around and all is well.
I always heard that they get darker when they are more aggressive, and lighter when they are being submissive, and are trying to show no aggression.
