Hey everybody,

I just discovered, that I must have at least 1 male and one female JD. They are not in the same tank, but since I am intending to breed them one time, I think I'll put them together soon. The only question is: How big do they have to be in order to produce offspring? I don't want the female to start too soon, so I am not in a hurry. But at which size can I give it a try?

Currently the male is about 3.5 inch long, the female is about 2.5 to 3.

its not really how big but how old i have seen a stunted pair about 2 inches long breeding but if the female is laying eggs then she is ready to try the male might not be
