I have a pair of young BGJD that had their first spawn however one of my sny. cats got to the eggs. (about 1 week ago) Since then I removed the catfish and they are in the tank alone with an older very laid back syn cat. (i've actually raised severums a couple times with the older catfish without any issues).
No other fish in the tank. My issue is the pair of jacks seem very depressed. Water is fine. They won't eat flakes, pellets or frozen brine shrimp. Well the female will eat a little and did see the male pick one or two frozen brine. However they both ate a earthworm today and 2 days ago. So they are eating a little. Just wondering if it could actually be depression from loosing their eggs. thanks for info.
