I have a male jack dempsy and I am on the way to the lfs to hopefully pick up a female for him. Any suggestions?
It was you jd fans on this site who told me it was a male, am curious about adding a female in with him.

Try and get a female about the same size, maybe bigger. Re-arrange the tank quite a bit so no territories are set when she comes in.

It is a hit or miss type of situation, you might have to try a couple of times.
