ok i have an astablished 180 gallon tank with 4 cichilds small yellow about 3" and two oscars one is 7" other is a relpacment for one that died he/she is 3" they all get a long fine always have i just added a small jack dempsy about 2 " what is going to happen when hes or she is bigger will it destroty my small ciclids or will it be cool sense he is small thanks

Id say if the oscars dont consume the electric yellows you would be very lucky. You would be even luckier if the Jack Dempsey did not eat them when he grow's or harass them until they are dead or miserable. Careful mixing fish bro sounds like a disaster for the yellow labs.

If the Dempsey doesn't get eaten by the big Oscar I would expect him/her to get along fine as adults...

I have no clue how the African will mix as I do not mix them with SA/CAs...

yeah the oscar gets along fine with everybody when i change the sometimes they get all weird and they huddle with the oscar like she is the mama its pretty funny but i guess im real lucky :headbang2

i dont know but i have a yellow lab with my jacks, jag, and convict and the yellow holds his own and he is much smaller than everyone else but i guess all fish are different

The Jack and the O will probably get along fine assuming the big O doesnt make a meal of him, I'd loose the yellows or there may be casualties.

the dempsey should ok with the oscar longterm, I find them to be generally compatible fish
