you can cross him with any CA cichlid. But, IMHO, try to only cichlids with cool or neutral colors, because when you mix cool and warm colors in fish it looks like there's too much going on and unappealling(which why i hate flowerhorns and synspilum).

The female probably is going to have to be a jag, so you might have to wait for you male jd to get big. As for the female jag size, I think around the same size as the jd would be good. But the tank needs to be largish, like 75 not a 40 breeder. That just my opinion.
