Jack wattley discus guru passed away?

A true pioneer,traveled to collect wild species as well as developed his own strains.I remember reading about him in the TFH magazines years ago.
What a shame! I got to meet Jack in the early 90s while working at my first job, which happened to be at an excellent pet store in New Jersey. He was the first, and most influential, serious fish guy i ever meet. He seemed "old" to me, even back back then. I've never kept Discus myself, but after that meeting, they have always had a place in my heart. Our hobby will forever hold a debt of gratitude to Jack and his work.
