Just a little teaser, my F0 pair of jacks finally laid some eggs last friday/saturday. All eggs that survived have hatched and are being taken care of by both parents. Can't wait to see the true outcome of them. Pictures are not in order, first picture was taken yesturday, second picture was taken saturday, and the last picture was taken today. With the last picture you can see between the two rocks underneath the female, all the brown, those are the babies she has moved around.

Hoyo - yes he is in my avatar, but below are pics of him tonight and him with her. I've had these guys since october, but have always been in a tank with other fish. Last friday I moved the only pleco in their tank to another tank, and did a huge water change, and BAM! next morning eggs.

odinthejd - yes these are wild caught

wat size do they breed? mine r 2-2.5 inch big. i have 5 of them so the can pick whoever they want. any info should know to breed them?

Wish I could help, but I'm not sure when they become mature enough to breed. And this is the first time mine have laid eggs, really first pair of fish to lay eggs without eating them. So this is my first time dealing with breeding.

So far everyday I get home from work/school I get worried and don't see the little babies anywhere on the bottom of the tank, only to discover they keep moving them around the tank to new spots. Is this regular behavior?
