I have just introduced a few more fish into my 150 gallon tank. This includes a female jack dempsey. Well, one of the older fish in there is a male jack dempsey. He is about 8 inches to her ~4-5". The first day I watched the female 'dance' around the male while the male was unresponcive. Now, a few days later, their roles have almost switched- the male shakes in front of the female and follows her around while the female doesn't do anything. I don't get it, why isn't she interested in him anymore? Is this normal? Should I be expecting anything new to happen? I am new to breeding so any advice would be welcome!
