Ok, I have a rainbow shark that I bought a couple months ago and he's about 2.5" long or so. So last night, I bought 5 Jacobfrebergi(believed to be 2 males and 3 females) and let them acclimate to the water before putting them in. In no time, the rainbow shark started chasing them around the tank but truthfully, I expected it. So I removed him from the 55 gal tank and put them in the 10 gal tank as to not stress out the Jacobfrebergi's and kill them. I put him back in this morning to see if he calmed down a bit, which he did for a little while only to go back to chasing them around again.
At this point, I removed him again but I want to know what I can do about this. My tank is bare at the moment minus 90 pounds of sand and a rock house I made, so I already know I need some decor or rock pile for the jakes to hide in and swim about. I see couple of options here:
1) Add decor for the jakes to hide in, break the line of sight.
2) Add some electric yellows so the rainbow shark has even more fish to chase and relieve stress on any one fish.
3) rehome my beloved rainbow shark.
