jaculator archer in full salt?

What is true is that they can tolerate marine water - I've heard that this species in fact spawns in marine conditions. Besides that, high tides in their environment can result in their brackish waters turning temporarily marine (salinity wise).

However, I would never recommend keeping these fish in marine water in captive conditions for the long term. They never spend extended periods of time in marine water in the wild, and therefore I believe that they shouldn't be exposed to marine conditions for any length of time in captivity.
