Anybody ever keep one with their bichirs? I have a delhezi that's about 6-7in and the jade goby I'm looking at is probably around 3-4in. The tank is a 75.

Any help/opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

Really? Ive had a couple feeders in there for like a month and he hasnt touched them. Hes kinda lazy...

Where as it won't be instant he'll eventually eat the feeders and the goby. If your really interested in getting the goby just get a tank divider or grow him out in a different tank until he matches up! :)

That goby will get waaayyyy too big for that tank. and anyone who says the bichir will eat the goby has no idea how big they grow and how fast they get that big. My jade goby hit 12" in 8 months.

A 6-7 inch Delhezi will eat a 3-4inch Goby, I never said anything about the tank.

i think a 6-7 inch delhezi wouldn't be able to get it down their throat. a 3-4" jade goby is pretty fat. I had my jade goby in with my 10" ornates when he was 4", and he was much too fat for the ornates to eat. The jade goby quickly outgrew the two ornates.

I will agree with that if the Goby is a chubby one the Delhezi might not be able to but I've had Bichirs take down Yellow Labs that were fatter then them.

Honestly, I would really rather get an ornate, but considering the size of the tank I don't think that's an option. Just kind of exploring other possibilities
