Hi, just got my female jag today introduced male and female to their 150 gallon tank, I moved the cichlids I had in there to a 60 gallon, the JD and GT but obviously I couldn't put my oscar in the 60 so I have left him in the Jag tank.

As the oscar is quite a bit larger I was hoping the Jag would accecpt him. The male is currently jaw locking with the oscar. I don't know what to do, will this behaviour last should I remove the oscar asap. I don't have a tank I could keep him in permanantly so Im in a bit of a situation...

Thanks Jake

An oscar no matter what size will eventually get killed by a mated pair of Jags. If you are already having problems now........just imagine when the Jags are guarding their fry.

If I have two cannister filters on the 60 how long can I keep a 7 inch oscar a 4inch gt and a 5 inch Jd together? Presuming theres no aggresion.

The JD & the GT would fair better in the 150 g with the Jags. The Oscar is the slowest mover out of the bunch. The JD & Terror are a lot quicker and I bet they could stay out of the Jag's way.

Get like a seperate tank for the the GT, JD and O. But i would put the GT with the Jags if possible. Because the Green terror will get much more aggressive than the JD and oscar can handle. What i would do is i would leave the Green terror in the 60g and get a 75g for the Oscar and Jd or maybe even a 90g. A 60g is far to narrow for a Oscar. The green terror only gets 7-10" max so a 60g would be fine. Good luck
